Last Thursday, the head of our Canadian client’s Beijing office visited our Shanghai office. The visit was significant in that it led to in-depth discussions on nickel alloys, particularly electro-thermal alloys, related products and processes as well as potential collaborative projects. Throughout the exchange, we had an in-depth dialog on key issues such as raw material sourcing, processing equipment upgrades, production process improvements and cost management. These discussions resulted in many promising avenues for cooperation. The atmosphere of the meeting was warm and cordial, culminating in impressive results. After the meeting, the two sides had lunch to further enhance their friendship and jointly finalized the schedule of factory visits, laying a solid foundation for future cooperation.

In order to enhance the safety awareness of employees and improve the level of production safety management, on April 7, our Xinhua Alloy Factory carried out a training on the topic of “Strengthening Injury Prevention and Promoting Safe Production”, which was mainly to let the employees be familiar with the concepts related to mechanical injuries, identify the causes of mechanical injuries, and recognize the importance of safety in the machinery industry, as well as the analysis of typical cases of mechanical injuries. It also analyzes typical cases of mechanical injury accidents. This will enhance the ability to prevent accidents, control hazards and deal with emergencies, and lay the foundation for future work safety. Executive Summary I: What is mechanical injury Mechanical injuries mainly refer to injuries caused by moving (stationary) parts of machinery and equipment, tools, processed parts in direct contact with the human body in the form of pinching, collision, shearing, entanglement, strangulation, crushing, cutting, stabbing and so on. Case Ⅰ: Accident in which a workpiece flew out and injured a person Cause of accident: Failure to confirm clamping after clamping the workpiece. Failure to wear protective eyewear. CaseⅡ: (1) strangulation; (2) crushing; (3) smashing; (4) crushing; (5) stabbing and cutting.

This Monday, we were honored to welcome our esteemed clients from the Middle East to our factory for a site visit. Our Foreign Trade Director, Ada Hua, accompanied them throughout the visit. During the morning session, we arranged for the clients to tour our smelting and forging workshops, where we introduced in detail our cutting-edge smelting equipment, including the 3-ton VIM and 5-ton ESR, which not only elevate product quality but also demonstrate our profound expertise in material preparation. The clients showed a keen interest in our bar mill, prompting us to provide an in-depth explanation of the bar processing technology, elaborating on every step from raw material selection to finished product output. This earned us a high degree of recognition from the clients. Subsequently, we took the clients to our testing laboratory, equipped with a series of internationally leading physicochemical testing instruments, including chemical analysis, spectrographic analysis, ultrasonic inspection, mechanical testing, high-temperature tensile testing, impact testing, hardness testing, bend testing, metallographic analysis, and physical property testing equipment. Through detailed introductions, we demonstrated our comprehensive testing process from sample preparation to data analysis, emphasizing our strict control over product quality and commitment to excellence. This session further strengthened the clients’ trust in our product quality. Throughout the visit, both parties engaged in friendly and in-depth exchanges, which not only enhanced mutual understanding but also successfully built a solid bridge of trust. This visit undoubtedly laid a solid foundation for future cooperation between us. Carbon is a crucial alloy element in steel, and its content directly affects the steel’s strength, hardness, plasticity, and toughness. Depending on the carbon content, steel can be classified into low-carbon, medium-carbon and high-carbon steel. Specifically, the higher the carbon content, the lower the plasticity and toughness of steel. Low-carbon steel (carbon content <0.25%) has good plasticity and toughness, suitable for profile materials and stamping materials; medium-carbon steel (carbon content <0.6%) is suitable for mechanical parts; high-carbon steel is suitable for parts with high strength and high hardness, such as springs and chains. For example, this is our company’s Inconel 825 bar. Its carbon content is usually kept low to ensure good corrosion resistance and easy machinability. It performs well in extreme conditions like high temperature and pressure, it is widely used in chemical, marine, and oil industries.
